Descriptions:
Audacity is a tool that allows you to record, edit and manipulate digital sound files in various formats.
In addition to creating your own recordings from individual files, adding multiple effects, you can import audio files in WAV, AIFF, AU, MP3, etc. format.
Audacity supports the basic editing commands (cut, copy, paste, undo), mixes songs, and includes an amplitude editor, a spectrogram and a frequency analyzer implemented.

Recent changes in Audacity:
- Full screen mode that is activated with the F11 key
- Sound devices can now be opened with DirectSound
- Reactivated the support for multichannel recording devices
- Numerous minor bugs corrected
